My name is Rahul. I currently live in Oakland, California and have worked in engineering at companies like Okta and Affirm for over the past decade.

I am passionate about cities and urbanism and have been involved with the YIMBY movement and bike / transit advocacy in the Bay Area.

I am currently taking a break from industry and am exploring the intersection between the phsyical and digital worlds.

Bicycles May Use Full Lane (link)

This is the first game I have ever made. I chose pico-8 because of its constraints and simplicity. I made this game to show how unsafe and stressful it is to bike on American roads. I want the player to empathize with bicyclists and feel the stress and lack of safety. This game, like biking on the road, is hard. You are not meant to feel easy or last that long. My highest score is 150.
